Nothing more

Words perch
on my tongue,
like eager seeds
each one vying to be sewn

and I can feel the ink
sloshing about my belly
with articulate intent,
those scanty splashes of inspiration
seem almost enticing

but all I've ever learned from poem
was how to manipulate a thought,
so it sounds like poetry
