Love Is A Storm In It's Purest Form

by Kat   Sep 11, 2009

Sufficing in our depravity

Lost inside its totality

Blending into the ecstatic veneer

Habituated to believe every sneer

Every leer

Ridiculed for lack of optimism

Don't we revolve around skepticism?

Partial truths inhaling fantasy

Make this transition ecstasy

Pierce me

Drug me

Penetrate me

Abandon me

The social order's perfection imitated by celebrities

Painting their obscenities

Disturbing my concentration

Guilty by association

Please give us more

What else do you have in store?

Silhouettes of true freedom remain untapped

What a surprise you haven't snapped

Whorls of smoke filling my lungs

A song already sung

A sun already spun

You're so uncertain

Grains of sand on a red curtain

There is a big picture

Where you're not the ultimate fixture

Am I what you want?

Oh why do you taunt.

Unwavering in my devotion

Forget the commotion.

There is no me without you

In this we are a few

There is no satisfaction

Till our justification

Love is a storm

In it's purest form.
