Raindrop

I am a raindrop falling from the sky
I fall so fast yet this is my life
Falling falling until I die
Falling toward my afterlife

There are others around me
That share my pain
Others who fall
And make the rain

Yet somehow I stand apart
I live alone
Yet in my heart
I've always known

I've known that the end is near
I know without a doubt
And yet I still fear
This highly dreaded route
