My dogs a manic depressive just like me
she sits and looks out the window
is she counting sheep?
i gave her some advice last week
i wonder if she took it to heart
or maybe she left it like every thing else
laying in the leaves
i told her its OK to be completely lost in time
its only a dream in her mind
yesterday i brought her to the park to play
with other dogs and have a grand old day
but she just growled and ran away
its the same every day
cause she knows the simple things in life
last longer than the best of friends
its such a pity i just don't listen
her voice gets drowned out by
the quiet whispers in my head
