Protect those souls.

by Sadespair   Sep 13, 2009

A plan of doom
A plan for war
A plan no one caught
Until the Towers blew up.

People ran.
People jumped.
A mothers heart torn.
with news of her
Daughter or Son being sent to War.

A plane of doom
A plane of war
A plane to destroy
A plane no one thought
Could blow our towers up.

The smoke Consumed innocent souls.
Our Towers lost,
As two planes crossed.
No one expected Death
To knock on so many doors.
From the 110th floor
To the Pentagon&&Pittsburgh.

A plan of doom
A plan of War
A plan to destroy
A plan no one caught
Until our towers were blown up.

In a day so many souls freed.
In a day so many screams.
In a day War became full speed.
May God protect those fighting
&&they're families.

For this plan made history
This plan made to destroy
The Planes that blew up our Twin Towers
Joy.

    You sure do have a thing for writing 9/11 poems. when i tried to summon the proper emotional response, a i didn't like how it turned out. but you've written a few now. it is a historically devastating day that will never be forgotten.

    good job
