Unworthy of Title.

Heartbreak is the deepest felt emotion.

You will never be aware of how much I have wanted you.

I have experienced forever too many times and watched it disintegrate before my eyes.

Forever; a notion that came to live every time I looked into those eyes. Eyes that stole my breathe and halted time. With each blink came the shocking realisation of a lifeless world.

I loved you violently. Grabbed at this love with clawing nails futilely as I watched it slither away. Have you any idea of how painful it is to lose repeatedly?

And so I bow my head, eager heart crucified by your own enthusiasm. Who was I to dream of dreams that had once before turned to nightmares?

Thus crumbles the heart that was never whole.

I think that this was an excellent write. It had no rhyme scheme...really no format; but at the same time it said so much. Your choice of vocabulary and voice really set this off for me. Amazing and beautifully written fellow poet. 5/5
