Pain and loss.

I remember it like yesterday and will always remember it tomorrow and today.

The day the angels took your little soul away while I watched on, tears brimming my eyes
The last time I would see you, the last chance to hold your little hand
Today was the day we said our goodbyes.

Watching you slip away seemed so heartbreaking but you had to leave that painful ordeal
When your machine's beeping became fainter, I asked myself was this actually real?

Kissing your tiny forehead for the last time and styling your beautiful golden hair made me realise that life wasn't fair. I thought I was able to cope but ever since then lifes been a sliding slope.
