I feel this is sincere
And these are truer words
Than what can be spoken
Or mumbled in three words.

I love you, sure
You know I say it plenty.
But isn't there much more?
More than just a penny?

What does it matter, babe?
What does this all mean?
We go around in circles, maybe
I'm tired of this thing.

I want to feel the realness
Of all of your emotions.
I want more than "I love you's"
Hold me through your motions.

I think I'm just fed up
Of dealing with this crap.
Nothing ever lasts too long
God, nothing ever lasts.

How could God be so cold?
