Countless Reminders.

by Brenda   Sep 17, 2009

I remember the good times.
the laughs and countless smiles;
[& the days spent at ease.]
now, there are long nights to face.
I listen for truth; and reality.
all I hear, are countless apologies.
when I clearly know;
- - -
[you'll never be sorry.]
- - -
it was right to let you leave.
but wrong for you to leave a scar.
now, there is acceptance to face.
[you won't save me this time.]
I yearn to rid the heartache.
all I receive; are countless reminders.
I will always clearly see;
- - -
[you'll forever be a part of me]
