If Only She Knew

by Lady Nik   Sep 18, 2009

I'm crying again....
not the first time
never the last time.
I can't escape.
This window fogs
to the sound of heavy rain
behind prison bars
holding me in this lonely place.
I bang my skull
against cold concrete
to silence the whispers
inside my panicked head.
As blood runs fast
her face comes to mind
I wonder what she'd say
if she knew I was already dead.

*Just something I needed to get out.*
