Addicts Anonymous

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Sep 19, 2009

Stand up and state your name,
you've got a problem in your head.
Life will never be the same,
at least that's what they said.

Hello my name's Anonymous
and I've come to fix my brain.
Our problems are synonymous,
so these thoughts I won't retain.

My mind is always speeding,
yeah thoughts I can't control.
about this disgusting needing,
which made me choose to enroll.

In six simple steps I'll be better
and I'll thank you every day,
but I can't say I'm not a debtor
and that you'll get your way.

To cut it short, I've got issues,
don't laugh, 'cause you're here too.
I don't need your tears or tissues,
just tell me what I need to do.

I loved this poem Jen. I can really relate to what you're talking about. I can tell that this was a very personal topic for you and I thank you for sharing it with us. I know you're going through something that's very hard for you and I know you will get through it in time. This was a wonderful read and I'm glad I stopped by to read it. Keep up the amazing work twin. I heart you *skittle hugs* Nik
