HEAR ME OUT

by Jay Perry Jr   Sep 19, 2009

Beyond the moon and stars
you can hear me shout
HEAR ME OUT
HEAR ME OUT

we're face to face
thoughts are lost in space

staring down each others pride
all we see is hate in each others eyes

playing a tough game of love
when will the fighting be enough

you always leave
when it is my turn to speak

i let you get your point across
now let me talk

you better not walk out
the whole world will hear me shout

beyond the moon and stars
you can hear me shout
HEAR ME OUT
HEAR ME OUT

if this is a game its no fun
you have two and i have one

if you leave I'm leaving too
if you leave and you are through

if you really want this to work
we have to talk it out not linger on hurt

beyond the moon and stars
you can hear me shout
HEAR ME OUT
HEAR ME OUT

I love it! I can truly relate to this poem! I really get you because I hate it when I fight with someone I care about and when I try to help them and make things right they refuse to let me and just want to argue. You talk about feelings of hurt and you portrayed your feelings really well in this poem. Great job!
