My Blooming Rose

by Soulful Ensemble   Sep 19, 2009

My blooming rose, don't wail
You're much too strong-- not frail.
Hold my hand and look at me
And I'll gaze into you, baby.

My blooming rose, you sway
With the rising of the tide.
In the garden every May
The sun reflects your eye.

My blooming rose, I love you dear
I hold you in my arms, sincere.
You come to me, always smiling
And I feel no troubles piling.

My blooming rose, look here
Into these two brown eyes.
They look at you with no fear
I'm ready to touch the skies.

My blooming rose, you'll be fine
Your smile will soon surely shine.
And if not you know I'd give
Any happiness I have for you to live.

My blooming rose, you kiss
With beauty's unmatched love.
I feel your passion-- remenisce
Of that first kiss I'm thinking of.

My blooming rose, the violets run
From jealousy that comes undone.
Your unmatched beauty heals the sun
And casts a light for everyone.

Happiness is never done.
