The most wondrous face is that of yours
In which pretty eyes all year reside.
A special token from the earth to me
Is when you look my way if for a moment's glee
And I can smile that in a while you'll be kissing
me.
A smile to kill all sadness springs
Like flowers blooming in the garden bring
Loving warmth like days of summer have
When long walks could produce a laugh.
Lilac-scented meadows beneath a blossom shrine;
We sit with our legs crossed, in a garden, where
every thing's Divine.
Your face and body radiate an aura, that's special; inscribed
I travel through a world within your eyes; lost in
every vibe.
I kiss those lips of godly grace;
Giggles burst from your pretty face.
I ask why it's so, but nobody can say,
So my laugh comes in to try and light the way.
We are mortals in disguise that love has cured
From lives that must always end for sure.
I sense the skin; the soft veil that leans there
And envelopes like tender angel's hair
Against my arm that shivers from its wake
Obsessed with passions that it now seems to shake.
I yearn all day for many things as small
As holding that hand that godly angel's made
And to kiss it tender when it passes by
And not forget its gentle nature when it has to
fade with time.
I love you deeply, like the trench in my soul
When you leave and time is so unholy.
Visions of you heal the spirit, and make it whole
So that every flower seems to fall so slowly.
