Life's sweetest curse,
Such a wondrous yet terrible perfection.
There are lives that fill this verse
With a deathly melody in its own affection.
There lies a tragedy within each line.
Cupid's senseless aim strikes yet again.
While one finds struggle for finding rhyme.
A foolish route this arrow takes then.
Who said desire drives the mind?
Faerie folk take control over passion.
Adulation become a mixed-up find
Not even a flower shows compassion.
An eve full of mysticism
Life continued under this mime
Such a night for cynicism
And constant wonder of such crime.
A puzzle in its own right
Two lovers flee from Athenian decree
Unrequited love is in the air tonight.
The scent is filled with letdown's debris.
No soul can be saved from this potion.
Jealousy leads even a true marriage awry
Enamoring of an ass, sweet commotion.
Such pain and mock is worth a cry.
What goes up must come back down
Enough, night must come to an end
Dream or no dream, awake to frown
Potion or not, this tale mustn't overextend.
Under the mild moonlight shine
True love wins the battle this evening
Magical beings hide away without a sign
And this life we call is wasted dreaming.
