Salty Aspirations

by Scott E Buttross   Jun 15, 2004

Wring your heart of nestled emotions sore
Let drip into the oceans to wash ashore
Salty vengeance will stint the oceans floor
How poor is the lonely night when tides wake

A vast undertow has swept away my thoughts
Intermixed and tossed with senseless hate
At last I had stepped abounding spots
Interest now lost with the boundaries of fate

Could I surpass and untie these knots
Inhibit the cost to commotional state
A past forgiven kept emotional slots
Interpolate what crossed to inhibit sedate.
