Cupid's Arrow

by Chloe Johnson   Sep 23, 2009

Honney let's play a dirty game
Cupid shot my heart the day you came.
Sitting atop a tree
He shot my heart when you passed me.

Let's not pretent he was ignored
Got it in his mind you're what I'm looking for.
I saw you from a distance, he knew,
How could he strike me and miss you?

Stupid baby, controlling my thoughts
That damn arrow has my heart in knots
Can't escape, the wound is too deep
If I pull it out, you can have it for keeps.

Oh Cupid you set me up
I hate your arrows you store in your cup.
You've made my heart twist and curl
But Cupid, not for a boy...but for a girl.
