A Face That Has a name

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Sep 24, 2009

The pressure is mounting.
Everyone looks the same.
Tanned skin and blond hair.
All faces with no names.

Skinny legs and matchstick arms.
They think it's oh-so-cool.
Most of them have no identities.
Unless defined by jewels.

I guess there's no sense of uniqueness.
They look down upon you if you're not the same.
But at least you have an identity.
You're a face that has a name.

* He who trims himself to suit everyone will soon whittle himself away. - Raymond Hull

Truer words were never written. I am glad I don't look like them, I am me, for better or worse. Well done.
