Humanity

by ntv650   Sep 25, 2009

Fragile shell, the hollow and darkest place
Where sharpest tendrils of light blindly reach
Fondling humanity and its idionsyncrasies

Untainted thoughts in heads that swell and hurt
While souls of times and places cast instinctively
Their passions like webs.

Now their borders overlap, disentigrate and ensnare
Wreaking temporary voids, rapidly filled
with fragile results

Finite objectivity points at humanity's flaws
Eventually smallest pebbles, our own feet
Bring fragile ghosts, tempered gods to trip

Victims of vanity, preys of convenience and dissillusion
Above all and more, the inevitableness of scarring deceit
A wordless metaphysical undertaker to bury our dead.

Ok so it's 3:43am but I've finally demolished that writer's block it would seem thanks to a combination of excessive tiredness and "the fray" hehe. Life is good
