Reversing my words

What do you do when things are never the way they seem,
For friendships you thought you had,
Seem all dried up almost disappeared,
They are throwing you to the sharks,
Making things appear not the way they are,
Muddling words up... changing it all...
Nothing being the truth,
What else has been a lie,
Trouble coming because of them,
Making me seem like the bad one,
When i'm at no end of it,
For somehow who should be in the background,
Why is it i am in the firing line?
