Still I Rise

STILL I RISE...

Still I progress, embedded in stress I refuse to digress

For I live by the spirit of God…

I dream dreams that closed eyes can't see, even when there's dark clouds that covers the dark veil that's covering me...

STILL I RISE.

Still I seek what most said I would never achieve and fools they were thinking for one moment I would welcome defeat because they attempted to make me believe.

STILL I RISE...

When all seems lost I still have the Audacity of Hope, the Audacity to cope with the many obstacles thrown in my path, I have the fortitude, ambition & strength provided by the grace of God

So nobody can stop me, for I am destined to do well and it is I, who dictates my success or failure.

I love how you explain that just because people are 'different' others think that they won't achieve goals they want to but somehow they always do. Loved it from the start, 5/5. Em
