The Brave Soldier

by Jillian   Sep 25, 2009

As I stand alone
walls on all sides
on the hardness and trials
I will stand tall
as tall as I might,
for all of my humble little life.
Til the world knocks me down,
and I am no more,
I will stand tall and neither by hand
nor by mouth shall I bruise because I am a brave soldier.

The repetition of "tall" was very effective and made me feel something. Almost admiration. Alone and tall, what a brave and strong soldier.

    Thank you for sharing this.
