A Walk with God

by Jillian   Sep 25, 2009

My walk with God throughout my life has been up and down,
there have been times when I have doubted God,
Where I have been in complete darkness and isolation.
There have been whirlwinds in my head just spinning out of control.

I admit that some of my choices in my life were and have been bad,
But as I have grown older I have come to see the light,
The light that God my savior sent to help me see clearly.
He has given me something that no-one else in my life can,
Freedom, freedom from my sin that was put onto another,
A great burden to carry for the one that God loved so dearly.

Though I may not always understand the path he has chosen for me I trust in him with all of my heart. Though I may have Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 3 I still trust in him. For he is my light and devote my all to him I shall because he is the father creator of heaven and earth and I love him so much! Jesus had to carry a cross through the town and up a hill,
as well as that he had a crown of thorns pushed into his head.
They nailed him to the cross by his arms and legs.
He paid the price for our sins through his blood and death.
Through the Lord my God I have come to know the way of life.

I am carrying the cross for Jesus and for this reason alone I truly trust in the plan God has chosen for me and no one will ever take that away from me. I now believe that God has a plan for each and every-one of us, as well as a spot up in heaven alongside him and everyone we love. For this reason I shall always walk along side with God!

I like your manner of writing, very lengthy yet every word used is essential. I like poems that pertain to sacred things and reading about people's fundamental beliefs. This is a fine piece of work.
