Listen To the Fountain Cry

by Scott E Buttross   Jun 15, 2004

Listen to the fountain cry
Watch the people as they go by
No ducks found this pond
In the city sky
The ocean replaced by civilizations cry
Lonely trees grow where only cars can fly

Wind runs with us all
The weak and the tall
Can time be wasted

When is notice taken
Can this life be forsaken
When a matter of choice
Brings us home
Everyday we are presented with the unknown
An unclear vision of everything around
