Autumn Gypsy

by Meena Krish   Sep 29, 2009

Emerald youths
fresh and vibrant
their worries swing freely
to the winds tunes

Months pile up
one after the other
as seasons chase to capture
their carefree days

Birth of Autumn dawns,
youths of yesterday
begin to show sorrow
like lines upon a page

Crippled with age
their once forgotten worries
for the world to see
turn orange, yellow and red

Autumn gypsy in all her glory
twirls her colorful skirt
with a dance of lively chill
she enthralls earth from above
