Sweet Flowers

by Soulful Ensemble   Oct 2, 2009

Sweet flower in the Everest grows,
Tender, burried to its toes.
Sweet flower, loving ember glows,
Like sweet September often knows.

Sweet flower, you said you'd wait
A day and never more.
You promised you'd not be late
Down by the sunny shore.

Sweet flower, we talked it all,
And you told me what you knew.
We kept our love so tall,
And I kept my heart on you.

Sweet flower, every morning snows.
You sleep like angels glow.
You're going to fly away I know
And I'll miss you when you go.
