Waiting

by Danibears   Oct 2, 2009

There is a numbing pain I can't seem to shake.
It trembles around me and the Earth quakes.
Even the world feels my pain.
Even the world stands in the rain.
I tried to be stronger, believe me, I did.
My words are not final and I did not bid
On a broken heart; at least not today
But I guess you must get in your say.
So please, carry on, and tell me now
Why you're acting different, and how
Can you expect me not to recognize
What's going on when I can read your eyes?
Just do what you want but end all this wait.
I can't even bare to look at this change.
I'm so scared of what you'll decide.
But I refuse to just run and hide.
So face me right now and tell me the truth!
Don't make me wait, that's a form of abuse!
Look at the air, or to God, I don't care!
Just please, already, choose!
