One Hundred Percent

by WakingFreedom   Oct 5, 2009

The world around me black and white,
While Im the only shade of grey.
The tension of the eyes stare me a hole,
A hole that burns my heart away.
Just because I am different,
Culture, heritage, and in tradition.
Does not mean you can judge me
In this way, in that kind, or in what position.
Im like you in many ways,
Nose, toes, eyes, and heart.
Laughter, madness, hurt, or pain.
But sadly, there is one thing that keeps us apart.
Its your thoughts of how I look.
Its your interpretation of how I act.
You think you know me with a few facts,
But you never read MY book from front to back.
There is one thing everyone should understand.
Its that there is many looks in all of us man.
But there is one thing true about us all,
We are one hundred percent, full, inside and out, human.

This was for sure one of the way better racism poems that I fell justify the cruel act.
You stated the words crazy good.
Made us understand from your point of you.
    Good work, love :)

This poem is very good apart from it needed to be restructured and also some punctuations are missing, but i get what you are trying to say. What i can say to you is that, always believe that you are unique and don't care less what the world think of you, just keep your head high. kel.
