Flowers in the ground

by groovydude   Oct 5, 2009

Purple flowers in the ground
sitting lonely without a sound
hoping that you would see the love
that I was sent from angels above
my heart was open and given to you
then you chose to rip it in two
the flowers are still in the ground
and now a sigh is my only sound
you say we are still friends and that you love me
but when your with him how can this be
I am the purple and not the green
the willow has chose blue, in his eyes she see`s
my heart beats on for new love I have found
as I now plant different flowers in the ground

A different perspective of love, like planting flowers. I had never thought of it that way. Well done.
