Where you Lead

Let's run away make our escape
Shut the doors , close the drapes
In each others arms we'll stay
Make our escape let's run away

Hide me from this painful life
Have love erase all our strife
Where your smile is all I see
From this painful life hide me

My soul will go where you lead
Life full of happy times all we need
Forever together hearts aglow
Where you lead my soul will go

The Swap Quatrain was created by Lorraine M. Kanter. Within the Swap Quatrain each stanza in the poem must be a quatrain (four lines) where the first line is reversed in the fourth line. In addition, line 2 must rhyme with line 1, and line 3 must rhyme with line 4 and so on; BUT not repeat the same rhyming pattern on subsequent stanzas.
Rhyming pattern: AABB, CCDD, and so on

    Everythings all good here. You had a pretty well rhymed stanza, and nice word usage. Your only errors is to take the ' out of Let's. Add a comma behind "away, others, and escape". That's it. Good Job.

    Great write. You just need to add a comma behind "together" in the third stanza, and another one behind "lead" in the last line.

    This poem was beautiful my friend. I loved it. You had minor erros, but this one deserves to be perfect. Nicely written. 5/5
