Memory Lane

Memory Lane(Trinet)

...................Tiny puddles
...................paper boats
laughter echoed, drenched by evening drizzles
warm blankets, delicacies, candy laced fingers
................chasing rainbow
..................trapped in
..................soap bubbles

..................Bruised knees
..................ruffled tresses
watched butterflies flying by, and wondered
..if it envied my childish carefreeness
..................distant images
..................slowly flicker
.................rusted memories

....................long forgotten
...................summer dreams
shimmering from memory lane, beckons me
..reverberates , chorus of nostalgic songs
.....................past - present
....................slowly gravitates
.....................invincible time.

**The Trinet, created by zion, is a form with these specifications:

Line 1 - 2 words
Line 2 - 2 words
Line 3 - 6 words
Line 4 - 6 words
Line 5 - 2 words
Line 6 - 2 words
Line 7 - 2 words

Repeat this pattern 2 more times, if centered correctly it looks like three crosses.

First of all I really loved the form, I have never seen it before but now I must try it! Excellent work, my favorite line was probably 'rusted memories' - this line really stood out to me among the rest, although each one was written wonderfully. Absolutely well written. (:

    Raj,
What a nostalgic piece you have created here and in a form I have not seen myself. Very nice and definitely an enjoyable read. You have such a way of weaving magic into everything you create. I love your mindset throughout this piece as it gave it wonderful imagery. Awesome stuff.

    Take Care,

What a beautiful piece you have penned. How we miss those days gone by as we age. Simple times when all we did was dream and play.
    Excellent job!
