Counting Sheep

by Second to None   Oct 6, 2009

At night I lay in the street
Wondering if death I will meet
The rush all the cold wind sweeps
I become get wet as the sky weeps

I want to be one with the night
Laying here just feels so right
The scratching of cars on the curb
JUST HIT ME SO MY SCREAMS CAN BE HEARD!

As rain beats down upon my chest
Sleeping in the street is were I belong best
I am playing hop scotch with my life
Right foot on run left foot on knife

Winding sidewalks cracks and all
Which one of these will cause me to fall
Step, step I carefully walk
As I lay myself to sleep i will no longer talk

I count sheep on more time
My sadness had finally crossed the line
Today I have had my final fight
One sheep, two, this is my last good-night

I loved the last line It was awesome
    Totally dark and out there
just wanting someone to hear your crys
just want someone to listen to you
I feel the same most days.
    Loved it.
    Take Care
