Seeker of the Soul

by Poet on the Piano   Oct 11, 2009

The art of dreaming does not come from fantasizing itself,
but arises from the flaming core of one's soul.

It nourishes one's desires,
fruitful intentions that cannot be
diminished by a harsh winter's words.

It encourages the weakened
and ventures out to keep the evening sun standing,
though twilight shadows howl vociferously.

It does not wish to deplete the minds of its visitors,
but merely hopes to satisfy, strengthen,
and color the dreary veins of life.

Dreams do help us immensely, although they arent real...they do help in many different ways. A good write, short but something different -- I liked it!

This is more of a prose verse to me ,MaryAnne.

Indeed dreams are very important, they keep us sane, mentally and are an outlet for emotional problems and issues that we sometimes cannot deal with during our (busy) day.

A few days ago I started using ZMA capsules, a side effect of this supplement is vivid dreams and deeper sleep and it sure does that..never slept so well in my life!

    Good job and God bless:)
