but when words cant be spoken
and tears arent enough
what good is it to say so?

For the first time, in much to long,
I hear what I have wished for.
You came, repeated the three words,
and kindly proceeded to ruin my existence.

Damn you...
just when I had faked happiness..
why do you do this to me?
What do you gain from me loving you?
why cant you let me move on?

You claimed that you were selfish..
Well, you weren't as much as now,
because in freeing yourself with the truth,
you have captured me with lies.

I understood you would never love me again..
I came to terms with that fact.
My heart gets what you are telling me now,
but my mind chooses to reject it
for fear it will lead me to insanity.
