You were gone for 18 years
You abandoned me for strangers
You were suppose to protect me
But no, the other were more important
Now 18 years later you come back
You try to control my life
But Im an adult now
I control my own life
I have a daughter now
You try to raise her, your way
Well I'm going to raise her, my way
You are not fit to raise her
You had plenty of chances to be a parent
But you didn't take any of them
You never cared, never wanted me
Why should you start now?
You never cared about me
You still don't, you never will
You're more like a lawyer, with your legal talk
Or a drill sergeant, barking orders
You expect me to be perfect, act perfect
Have perfect grades and the perfect house
You're unreasonable you're not even perfect,
How can you expect that from me?
No you can't control my life anymore
You can't come into my life after 18 years
To start barking orders at me
I'm an adult now and you are no longer my father
