Shared moments

by Anthony M   Oct 13, 2009

The hours on end phone calls,
thousands of texts back and forth
like giddy children, wanting it all.
The moments that we shared.

The deepest secrets and desires
revealed to each other's soul,
stoking our passions to a raging fire.
The moments that we shared.

The first long awaited embrace
hearts racing, butterflies fluttering
wide eyes feasting upon one another's face.
The moments that we shared.

The first kiss smoother than fine wine
lost in our fantasy turned ecstasy,
tasting the lust for the very first time.
The moments that we shared.

The teary-eyed long goodbye
feeling desolate and so alone,
eyes heavy begin to cry.
The moments that we shared.

    Very beautiful. Yet so sad.

    The teary-eyed long goodbye
    feeling desolate and so alone,
    eyes heavy begin to cry.
    The moments that we shared.

Love can bring us so much joy. Then can be one of the most painful things we will ever feel.
    Good Job!
