She's done with the lies, She's tired of being hurt. She was never good enough for the truth, She was never good enough at all. She was just someone to take up space, Someone to fill an empty void from the past. The lies came pouring out, But she still couldn't see what was right in front of her. She gave him all she had left, Even risked being broken again. She thought he was different, Because that was the thought he put in her head. The truth was all that she wanted, But that was just a price too high for him to pay. Don't tell her you're sorry, You know as well as she does, that you aren't. Don't tell her you love her, Because you never did. All because of one little lie, That you could have avoided by telling the truth. Does it make you feel like a man, To know you're killing every bit of life she has in her? Does it make you feel like you've won something, When you hold her at night, knowing you hurt her? How does it make you feel, When you know you were the one person she was living for? How does it make you feel, To know you're the one breaking her heart? Are you proud, Proud of who you've made her? Proud of making her a monster, Making her someone so caught up in love, she doesn't see the lies? Like the old saying goes, One lie could send her off the edge. Well sweetheart; congratulations, She's about to take that fall. So are you really happy with yourself, Are you really proud of the life you made her live? Because the life she lived; was hell, And she has you to thank for that.-bah. 2009
