Tattooed

by Endura Blue   Oct 14, 2009

Home is where you leave your heart,
with out it you slowly begin to fall apart

Not knowing how much it is worth
Until you crumble into the earth

The longer that you stay away
The more the silent movies begin to play

Vivid pictures begin to tattoo your mind
Of blissful memories of all kinds

The ink begins to paint out your story
And with it every details worry

You soak up every smell and touch
But with these longings its never enough

It always leaves you wanting more
And all these memories bring you back to the shores

Of silent waves of endless longings
Your left drowning in your hearts belongings

And your forever left stained and tattooed
Of your memories of home
