Cross Roads.

by Black Heart Still Beating   Oct 15, 2009

Left.
Right.
The High Road.
The Low Road.
The Dirt Road.
I need a map,
To find my way,
Just have to get away,
From all the ties
that bind me.
To the Past I leave behind me.

Follow the Cars,
Follow the Bikes,
Follow the Lines,
Follow the Wind,
Onto the road.
That leads away.
For the love of all,
I must not stay.

To slow at a walk,
To slow at a jog,
To slow at a run,
I need to be gone,
Faster.

No way to know.
Which way to go.

Left.
Right.
The High Road.
The Low Road.
The Dirt Road.
I need a map,
To find my way,
Just have to get away.

From this town I run away,
Into the arms of a new day.
The sun will rise again,
some day,
So I will keep on going my way.

So far this is my favorite. The wording was good and so was the flow. The rhyming was nice and didn't seem forced. Liked the length and it was easy to read and understand. It is also relate able.

    Gave it a 5/5
