after all what is it really worth?
In the end who cares,
and after everything who can truly say they were there?
I once believed in fairy tales,
that was a long time ago.
With growing up comes realization,
but things have changed and we will never know.
Have you ever felt abandoned,
like nobody was there?
The cold shiver always given,
through this empty air.
I never knew what love was,
until you came along.
I never wanted it,
and yet you made me so strong.
It was my mistake,
to let myself get so far.
But when you look up and the midnight sky,
I hope you think of me with every twinkling star.
But I'm just the girl that loses everyone important,
everyone she puts her heart and trust into.
with all that has been said and done,
I only wish you knew.
