Every Death Leaves A Hole

by FindingHarmonyInYurCries   Oct 18, 2009

Staring into space,
I focused on the pain.
It seems I've been shot,
In the heart yet again.

A tear for the pain,
That's yet to begin.
For this hole is fresh,
Without infection.

As time goes by,
This hole will shred.
It'll move through me,
Tearing at the threads.

It's a pain from hell,
Created by death.
Every death leaves a hole,
And leaves me out of breath.

A hole for Amy,
For David and Chantelle.
A hole for Andrew,
It's an unbreakable spell.

The new hole lives,
For a 20month old boy.
Lost in his laughs,
Overtaken by joy.

His death opened me up,
With an unexpected pain.
Rest In Peace child,
You won't be disturbed again.
