Comments : Just A Puddle [Nothing More]

I wanted to be your ocean,
But I'm just the puddle you stepped in.

*I loved this part sooo much. I felt you really understood the use of water and you used it in such a creative way. I would have never thought to use it this way. So I comend you on being so creative. I love that you used free verse for this. I feel that using that made your poem stronger. You weren't limited to ryhming words, but instead wrote what you were feelings. Your words evoked so many emotions for me. I got that longing sense to be with someone as well as that disappointment when they don't return your feelings. Such a simple piece that displays complex emotions. Truly a brillant piece. Keep it up hun. Nik*

I Really like this poem. poems that compare an object or a thing to the way you feel. I find them clever and very interesting. Wonderful

you may like a poem I wrote called

like a fish that fights the reel.

in it I do the same kind of comparing. in a way.

I loved this write, it reminded me something you'd hear on a sad movie. So much emotion and detail in just little words. I wish i had that talent.
