If I Told You...

by Dreamofolwin   Oct 19, 2009

If I told you that I love you,
Would you hold me for evermore?
If I looked into your eyes,
Telling you that I need no more...

To have fulfilled the longing,
That my vacant heart has sighed.
To sit alone and count,
The many silent tears I've cried.

Would you hold me this close always?
Always be at my side...
I want you now forever,
These feelings I can't hide.

So hold me today, tomorrow,
Everyday my whole life through.
Coz no one on earth can mean as much,
To my heart, as much as you.

This was a very sweet poem, it flowed from the heart and felt like something real. Tender and sweet. Nicely done!

Aah. How wonderful it is to love and to be loved, if it is the right person. This write is so fresh. You see, no matter how much we go through hell because of love, the heart is always inexperienced and we find ourselves missing love again.

This write embodies just that. Forgiving and forgetting, to love and be loved once again. 5/5 Dear Olwin..Countess
