We were all innocent, once
Pure, of mind, body, and heart
It was man that corrupt us
And slowly tore our souls apart
We knew right from wrong
Our paths were laid before us
We had no doubt, no worry
Free from guilt or lust
Now our minds are cluttered
Our hearts are bruised
We have trouble finding our way
Because our souls are tattered, used
Our bodies now damaged
We no longer see clear
Man broke the world
And now we live in fear
The world was innocent once
It was pure, whole
Yet man broke it in spite
Its beauty he stole
And now were left forever, wanting
