Sweet, Caring Lover

by Soulful Ensemble   Oct 20, 2009

Sweet, caring lady from the arctic ice
Everything you do always feels so nice
And when the cold chill runs down my veins
I stumble onto you in hope you will kill the pains.

Sweet kind-hearted lover from the past
All the love you share is always vast.
I still remember cold winter days
When your blue eyes had the truest ways.

Sweet lover, careful and yet so free
When will you open your heart and let me be?
I love you from the top of the mountain
To the bottom of the sea
You shoot my soul sky-high like something never seen.

If you asked me for something I can give
Well then I'd let you have my heart to live.
And if you wanted something I don't have
I'd die if just for you to hold it for a second's half.

I wear my heart on my sleeve for you to see
And open your arms wide to receive
The contents of my soul that spill like rain
From the sky above to the window pane.

Sweet, caring lover from the arctic North
Even though its cold I feel your warmth.
I'll remember when you told me something clever
When you said " I'll love you always; forever."

Thank you so much. This is about remeniscing the love you had with somebody and missing it; but, not in a sad way.
