Heartbreak is like any other pain
although you are in physical pain
you cant pin pont where
all you know is that
its like your muscles somewhere inside
are all tensed
straining like an elastic band
waiting for it to snap
to tear you apart
it feels like
there a huge hole inside you
that could never be filled again
a dull ache
which when focused on
feels excruciating
as if you could just combust
but how can this be real pain
because theres no physical wound
it feels real
it feels like your heart is
shattering in to tiny pieces
but thats not possible
so what is heartbreak?
is it just in our minds?
surely not
no mind could possibly conjure up
a pain like this
so suffocating
so intense
so real
