Broken, smashed, gone forever,
I no longer feel the weather.
You killed my soul & broke my heart,
the day you said, ~We must part!~
I cried so long, every tear was not alone,
all I wanted, was for you to come home.
I wanted to see you, just one more time,
& hear you say that sweet line.
The line you told me, the day I fell for you,
although I knew it was too good to be true.
You told me you loved me, & I was the only one,
You told me we'd be together forever as you pulled the gun.
You cried you were sorry, but I still couldn't see,
what had gone wrong, that you'd want to leave me.
I walked closer to you, I held you tight,
I told you everything would be alright.
~I love you,~ I whispered, as he held me closer,
~I'm sorry,~ he told me, as he pulled the trigger.
