Lost

Long time ago I was a lost soul
I awoke with the sun shinning bright on my face
I tried to shield my eyes but to no avail

As I tried to see through the light
The glow was blinding
The light was intoxicating

Then out of the shadows like the sunrise
Your face appeared
I was left breathless
