Today & Tommorow

by trippetta TC   Oct 23, 2009

Couldn't remember the most recent living,
deceased Superman,
I'm just a girl sometimes lonely;
trying not to notice the firefighters
and cops in training at my local college annex
(for fear of desire)
Cross of trail of thought,
I remember, while riding my bike,
Trekking through the mountain, Reeves
And with this new medical terminology
Every word and fragment so easily dissected,
How would niceties or Nietzsche's define this metro politic
plan?
A beat to skip, a plot to pick,
A daisy to decide the communion, purpose to perplex,
Skein of skies; so goes as the golden eagle feasts,
someone always grieves,
Lovely lattice, bustle she claims busted corset,
Not to forfeit, of course the design is immense:
The albino dragonfly has no camouflage,
dies in beautiful beatitudes like a daytime star
I am in awe of the darker common twin & it's industry of twigs
And if any would see the sinuosity
Insipid and snake like
Bowing and admitting shame to a dowry of skins & figs
Perhaps I can be done with it and admit again
To a need of pleasure and sin within
