Thank Goodness Its Friday... ...

Thank goodness its Friday thats all I can say,
I can forget about work, and just chill out my way!
I can stay in my PJ's, or go for a walk....
I can visit some friends, sit up talking till dark!

I can enjoy a good breakfast 2 days of the week,
Relax, read the paper, even put up my feet!
But theres always awaiting some chores to do to...
They can wait for the moment, as I bid them adieu!

    Another wonderful and enjoyable piece.This is one of those rare weekends where I can realax and put up my feet like you describe here...lol...From the time I punch my timecard on monday I would say, come on Friday, then midweek the boss will ask wanna work the weekend?and guess what?There goes the anticipated Friday...lol
    I've enjoyed reading this piece.keep up the great job.

    Oh yeah..Instead of Friday, I'll say thank God its Thursday..ours is TGIT not TGIF..lol..
    This is a very refreshing one especially now..over here, its the last day of the week,,,and i was thinking all this time about work and stuff and i came across a very humorous poem of yours..have a good day!!
